In 2008, NABARD counseled Swayambhar Nari to start Eco Tourism project. Traditional tourism is turned into eco-tourism, named "KALABHUMI" at Kamarpara, in Birbhum by Swayambhar Nari. Today local economically backward people are managing the entire project. People come and enjoy their stay here. This Tourism is not based on luxury but it weaves a relationship between the rural eco system and the urban desire to get to the basics. People who had nothing, now own this sustainable eco system, earning their decent and honest livelihood from it. Swayambhar Nari is just the mentor and the guiding light.
There are two Mud-Houses in our Eco Tourism Centre "Kalabhumi'. "Kalobari' is double storied, can accomodate 5 persons whereas the other Mud-House is a double storied having two double-bedded rooms and also two more bigger rooms to accomodate more people.
